My career began over 30 years ago after university, working as an Account Executive for the NSPCC — the start of a lifelong interest in supporting children and mental health. A move to Cape Town led me to work as a professional artist and art teacher, during which I also completed a Foundation in Art Therapy.
In 2009, I began training as a psychotherapist at the Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy, working in private practice and with a charity supporting individuals and families affected by intergenerational trauma. This led me to combine my passion for therapeutic work with my creative background, and I went on to qualify as an Integrative Child Counsellor at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE), where I was awarded Distinction.
Today, I work as an integrative counsellor, mindfulness teacher, and executive function coach, supporting children, young people, and adults — including those with ADHD and other forms of neurodiversity. I completed my Executive Function Coaching qualification through Connections in Mind, specialists in ADHD and executive function coaching. My approach is relational, creative, and grounded in compassion. I offer tailored support to help clients develop emotional resilience, practical strategies, and greater self-understanding.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), fully insured, DBS checked, and committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision. I have also trained with Mindfulness UK to teach mindfulness and compassion-based practices to both adults and young people.
